Accessibility Statement

Effective June 13, 2026 · Last updated June 13, 2026

BAU Farm Intelligence is committed to making our website and mobile apps usable by the widest possible audience, including farmers and farm staff with disabilities. We design and test the Service against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we aim to meet or exceed obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508, and EN 301 549.

Measures we take

  • Semantic HTML, ARIA where appropriate, and keyboard-accessible interactive components.
  • Color contrast that meets WCAG AA on text and UI controls.
  • Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements.
  • Alt text on meaningful images and labels on all form fields.
  • Respect for user preferences: reduced motion, dark mode, system text scaling.
  • Mobile apps tested with VoiceOver (iOS) and TalkBack (Android).
  • Accessibility review as part of our release process for new features.

Known limitations

We are actively working on the following areas. If any of these block you, please contact us and we will provide the information through an accessible alternative.

  • Some complex data visualizations (yield charts, soil trend graphs) do not yet expose a full text or table equivalent — a downloadable CSV is available as an interim alternative.
  • Some third-party embedded content (maps, payment processor checkout) is subject to the vendor's accessibility conformance.
  • User-uploaded photos (scouting images) do not have automatic alt text yet.

Reporting a barrier

If you encounter an accessibility barrier or need information in an alternative format, please email accessibility@baufarmintelligence.com with:

  • A description of the barrier and what you were trying to do.
  • The page URL or app screen.
  • Your device, browser, and assistive technology (if applicable).
  • A preferred way to receive a response.

We aim to acknowledge reports within 2 business days and to provide a substantive response or fix within 15 business days. Critical barriers that block account use are prioritized.

Formal complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with your national accessibility regulator (e.g., the US Department of Justice for ADA matters, or your EU member-state authority under the European Accessibility Act).
