Copyright & DMCA Policy

Effective July 15, 2026 · Last updated July 15, 2026

Business As Usual LLC, operator of BAU Farm Intelligence ("BAU", "we", "us"), respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our website, mobile apps, and related services (the "Service") to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998, 17 U.S.C. § 512 ("DMCA"), we will respond to properly submitted notices of alleged copyright infringement and, in appropriate circumstances, terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

1. Reporting Alleged Infringement

If you believe that content available on or through the Service infringes a copyright you own or control, you may submit a written notice ("DMCA Notice") to our Designated Agent. Your DMCA Notice must include all of the following, as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list of such works.
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (e.g., the URL).
  4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Incomplete notices may not be actionable. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages.

2. Designated Agent

Send DMCA Notices to our Designated Agent at the address below. Notices sent to any other address may not receive a response.

DMCA Designated Agent, Business As Usual LLC

Business As Usual LLC, Attn: DMCA Agent, Shelby, NC, United States

Email: legal@baufarmintelligence.com

Phone: +1 (704) 270-6466

Our Designated Agent is also registered with the U.S. Copyright Office DMCA Designated Agent Directory.

3. Our Response

Upon receipt of a compliant DMCA Notice, we will (a) expeditiously remove or disable access to the material claimed to be infringing, (b) forward the notice to the user who posted the material (if applicable), and (c) take reasonable steps to notify that user that we have removed or disabled access to the material.

4. Counter-Notification

If you believe your material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notification to our Designated Agent that includes the following, as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3):

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, for any judicial district in which BAU may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA Notice or an agent of that person.

If we receive a valid counter-notification, we may restore the removed material in 10–14 business days unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

Consistent with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i), we will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to the Service or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.

6. Trademark and Other IP Complaints

For trademark, right of publicity, or other non-copyright intellectual property complaints, please contact legal@baufarmintelligence.com with a description of the alleged violation and the URL(s) at issue. We review these complaints on a case-by-case basis.
