What the directory is

The BAU Certified Grower Directory is a public list of specialty crop farms in USDA Zones 7–9 that keep their production and compliance records on BAU Farm Intelligence. Each listing shows the farm name, county, acreage, the crops it grows, the sales channels it serves, and whether the grower has completed BAU certification. Buyers use it to find supply by crop and geography; lenders and Extension agents use it to confirm that a farm keeps documented records.

How a farm gets listed

1. Create a BAU farm account and add fields, plantings, and acreage.
2. Record chemical and fertilizer applications in the application log so the compliance history is real, not self-reported.
3. Complete the six certification modules and pass the exam at 80% or better.
4. Publish the listing. Growers control what appears and can unpublish at any time.

What buyers should know

A listing is a record-keeping signal, not a food-safety audit. BAU certification confirms that a grower can operate the platform and maintains application and planting records; it does not replace GAP, GHP, USDA Organic, or a third-party audit. Ask for those separately. Every credential carries a unique ID and a public verification URL so you can confirm status without contacting us.
